After an arrest warrant was issued, Ian Hunter Doyle (pictured above), the alleged driver of a vehicle in which the suspect of a July 12 shooting was also riding, turned himself in to authorities July 17. Doyle is being held at the Independence County Detention Facility on a $250,000 bond.

Court information accuses Doyle of driving Robert Casey Evans (pictured below) to the site of the deadly shooting and then driving Evans on his attempted getaway after police allege Evans shot and killed Andrew Milton.

Doyle’s vehicle was stopped by an Independence County Sheriff’s Deputy traveling south of Batesville on Highway 167, less than 30 minutes after the incident.

The same night Doyle signed his Miranda rights and agreed to an interview with Batesville authorities. Through the entire interview, BPD detectives say Doyle was evasive and was vague about statements he made.
