Victor M. Ross, 59, of Newport departed this life Friday, July 17, 2020. He was born June 20, 1961, to Bobby Dean Ross Sr. and Nellie Hardison Ross. Victor loved traveling, dancing, truck driving and being around family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Brenda Porter and Nylus Dawson, Grandmother Fannie Hardison and Grandfather Dorsey Hardison, brother-in-law Rafael Solis Sr., nephews Jerry Henry and Jimmy Hampton, niece Jujuan Henry.
His survivors are brother Bobby Ross Jr., (Barbara) of Newport, sisters: Sabrina Brown and R.D. Jr. of Newport, Debra Wyatt and Earl of Rialto, Calif., Sharon Henry and Kenny Cox of Newport, Kathye Ross of Newport, Vera Swan and Tommy of Cleveland, Ohio, Tammy Solis of Cleveland, Ohio, Rosemary Young of Beebe, Arkansas, Carolyn Moore and Steve of Chicago, Ill. aunts: Vera Cowan of Los Angelas, Calif., Emmogene Steward of St. Louis, Mo. a host of nieces and nephews, special cousins: Future Lawson of Newport, Lonnie Patterson of Dallas, Texas, and a special friend Edward Childress of Atlanta, Georgia.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at Dillinger Funeral Home
Due to COVID-19 facial coverings are required for all visitations and funeral services.
