Arrest warrants were issued and Independence County prosecutors have filed charges on a man and woman from a case that started earlier this year, according to documents filed Tuesday in Independence County Circuit Court.
Law enforcement authorities had William Sanders, 66, and Betty Jo Hice, 46, under surveillance before a bust occurred, and the Independence County Sheriff’s Department had enough evidence to charge Sanders and Hice with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and maintaining a drug premises, the court records said.
All charges are felonies.
The delivery charges go back to March, and the charges for maintaining a drug premises charge are from June when the bust was made.
