Man sentenced to three years in prison in Stone County Circuit Court

During a recent Stone County Circuit Court session a man was sentenced to three years in prison.

The sentencing order says Jesse Leon Oxford (pictured) , 30,  was sent to prison for 36 months along with a suspended sentence of three years.

Oxford entered a negotiated plea of guilty to two counts of breaking or entering and two counts of theft of property.  The incidents occurred on December 24 and December 30 last year.

Oxford was also fined $2,500 plus court and other associated costs. 

He was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $638.00. 

The Circuit Judge gave Oxford credit for 210 days spent in jail awaiting trial.
