Witnesses report possible shooting near Riverside Park before car crashes into pole

Witnesses reported to White River Now late Thursday night of a possible shooting incident around Batesville’s Riverside Park and then, soon after, the crashing of a vehicle into a utility pole near a convenience store not far from the area. Our news department has not been advised of any injuries from the incident.

White River Now has reached out to the Batesville Police Department. A BPD representative said an incident report should be forthcoming.
