Sharla Deann Bethel, 48, of Newport departed this life on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, at her home. She was born on April 8, 1972, in Newport, the daughter of Mr. Thomas and Kathy Collom Gregory.
Sharla was a member of First Baptist Church in Newport and enjoyed painting and doing Arts and Crafts.
She leaves behind her husband of 20 years, Johnny Bethel, Sr., her parents, Thomas and Kathy Gregory of Newport; two sons, Aric Hagar of Newport and Johnny Bethel, Jr., of Newport; two daughters, Katie Bright and husband Derek of Newport, Amber Fraley and husband Alex of Newport; one sister, Sonya Henderson of Newport; and six grandchildren, Stacey Jones, Gunner Bethel, Jaylin Locke, Kaydence Locke, Molly Bright, and Clara Bright.
Life Celebration Service will be 2:00 Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
Due to Covid-19 guidelines, face-covering and social distancing is required.
