Citizens Bank has announced Charolette Royal’s appointment to vice president and corporate trust officer in the bank’s Trust Division.

Royal, who for 10 years has been involved in administration of corporate trusts, now expands her responsibilities to also include administration of personal trust and 401k plan relationships, and additional management duties within the Trust Division, the bank noted in a media release.

“Throughout her career, Charolette has earned an excellent reputation, both for herself as well as our entire division,” said Gene Crawford, president of the Citizens Bank Trust Division. “She has developed strong relationships with school districts, municipalities, and bond underwriters across Arkansas as she works with them on bond issues, all of which directly benefits the bank and our communities.”

By demonstrating proficiency in the field of corporate trust, Royal earned the designation as a Certified Corporate Trust Professional through the Cannon Financial Institute.

Royal is a graduate of the institute’s Corporate Trust School and earned an associate degree in accounting as an honor graduate from Gateway Technical College. She also completed Citizens Bank’s EDGE leadership development program.

A lifelong resident of Evening Shade, Royal has three children and one granddaughter. She is a member of the Evening Shade City Council and serves on its Community Events Committee. She enjoys crafting, cooking, kayaking, and camping.
