Jerry Dale Whaley, 67, of Newport departed this life Monday, Sept. 21, 2020. He was born Dec. 20, 1952, in Newport, the son of Edward and Onita (Milligan) Whaley.
Jerry was a member of the Hurricane Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, deer and turkey hunting, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Bobby Whaley and Kenny Whaley, and three sisters Myrtle “Doodie” Crutcher, Sue Anderson, and Wanda “Cookie” Crotts.
He is survived by his nephews Terry Whaley, Dennis Whaley, Kenny Whaley, Chris Whaley, Mike Crotts, Doug Crotts, Scott Whaley, and Tony Anderson, nieces Donna Anderson, Kelly Whaley, Lisa Lucus, Reginia Cornwell, and Teresa Bundy, brother Richard Whaley (Freda), and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
