news-siren-90

During a traffic stop on Saturday, September 26, 2020, a 57-year-old Stone County man was arrested on drug and paraphernalia possession.

The court documents said Steven William Shrum (pictured) was found to be in possession of meth and paraphernalia to use meth after he was stopped by Mountain View Police for a broken headlight.

Because of Shrum’s past criminal conviction record, he will be tried as a habitual offender.

His bond was set at $25,000 by Judge Tim Weaver.
