The ghosts and goblins will come to life Saturday night at “The River Haunt, the annual haunted house that benefits Main Street Batesville and the historic district. The event, held in the old Batesville Jaycees building at 570 Stadium Dr. by the White River, will be open each Friday and Saturday for the rest of October at 7 p.m.

According to the Main Street Batesville website, “The River Haunt” is “…a dark attraction with terrifying live actors, amazing special effects, and incredible frights.” The site also says it is “…an intense, multi-themed attraction that is full of chilling detail and unbelievable scares.”

Mandi Curtwright (pictured above, left) with Main Street Batesville joined David Thompson (right) of Thompson’s Jewelry on Friday morning to visit about “The River Haunt” with Ken Loggains and Gary B. on “The Wake Up Rave Up” on Arkansas 103.3 KWOZ.
