First Community Bank welcomes new members to their mortgage team

First Community Bank announced the addition of five new members to its mortgage team in Jonesboro. They are temporarily working out of the Southwest Drive location but will soon be stationed at our new mortgage lending center located at 1823 Grant Avenue.

“Each member of the mortgage team brings an extensive skill set and impressive banking background,” said Allen Williams, market president, Jonesboro region. “I feel that these individuals will be excellent additions to our growing mortgage lending team in the Jonesboro region.”

Katie Ingram has been hired as vice president, secondary mortgage originator. She has been married to her husband, Blake, for nine years. She has an 11-year-old son, Cade, and a 4-year-old daughter, Josie Lou.

Courtney Young has been hired as a secondary mortgage processor. She has previously worked in a mortgage for three years. Courtney and her husband, Heath, are expecting their first baby in March.

Jennifer Harris has been hired as a secondary mortgage processor. Jennifer has two years of experience in the mortgage. She has two sons, Gavin, 15, and Mason, 13.

Denise Klingensmith has been hired as vice president, secondary mortgage underwriter. She comes to the bank with over 22 years of experience in mortgage. She is married to her husband, Kelly, and together they have two children – Justin, 24, and Ella, 18.

Amber Agee has been hired as a secondary mortgage closer. She comes to the bank with more than 20 years of banking experience and nine years of mortgage experience.

A Jonesboro native, she graduated from Westside High School and has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arkansas State University. She and her husband, Michael, have a nine-year-old son, Isaac.

Karagon Prestidge is a secondary mortgage processor, joined First Community Bank as a teller in April of 2019 before moving to the mortgage department in August 2020. Karagon is originally from Brinkley and recently graduated from Arkansas State University in May of 2019.

Jelena Veteto, vice president regional manager for the Jonesboro region, has lead First Community Bank’s secondary market division in the Jonesboro area since 2008 when she joined the bank family. Jelena is a career mortgage lender and a native of Jonesboro.

For seven years in a row, Jelena has been voted best mortgage lender by the readers of Occasions magazine and has twice been voted best mortgage lender by Premiere magazine.
