Beatrice (Holloway) Loftis of Oil Trough, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at the age of 83.
She was born Dec. 13, 1936, at Rosie, the daughter of Jessie Allen and Carrie Mae (Martin) Holloway.
Loftis was a United States Army veteran, serving three years. She worked for the U.S. Pizza Company in Newport for many years as a waitress.
Loftis was a hard worker, who enjoyed fishing with her husband, Arlen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlen; three brothers, Darrel Holloway, J.C. Holloway, and Howard Holloway; and her parents.
Loftis is survived by one brother, Wesley Holloway of Oil Trough; two sisters, Bertha Hadden of California, and Naomi Newman of North Little Rock; and a lifetime of friends.
A family-directed memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at Maple Springs Cemetery.
