A runoff election on Tuesday for a seat on the Stone County Quorum Court (J.P. — District 2) ended with Democrat Travis Trammell as the newly-elected winner.
Trammell received around 62 percent of the vote against Republican Chip Doss who came in with 38 percent of the tally.
The final numbers were:
- Trammell — 157 votes
- Doss — 98 votes
