Janice Kay (Welch) Melton, 62, of Mountain View, passed away on Monday, Dec. 1, 2020, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Janice was born on February 14, 1958 in Tillamook, Ore. to the late Chester and Mada (Gosser) Welch. Janice was a member of Siloam Fellowship Church in Mountain View. Among her many talents, Janice loved playing the piano at church. She was a devoted member who loved the Lord and her church family tremendously. In addition to playing the piano, Janice was creative in many areas especially with floral design and greeting cards. Janice was a devoted, loving, daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Janice is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Melton; one daughter, Angie Wagster and husband Tim of Lignite, ND; one brother, Dwain Welch; one sister, Dawn Branscum; three grandchildren, Kesha, Austin, and Garrett, and many extended family and friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mada (Gosser) Welch; and a Baby Melton.
A memorial service for Janice will be Thursday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. at Siloam Fellowship Church in Mountain View with Brother Bryan Wilkie officiating.
