Obituary: Terry Glenn Weaver

Terry Glenn Weaver, 64, of Magness, Arkansas died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020.

He was born on Oct. 20, 1956.

Terry was a child of God. His whole life revolved around his Lord and Savior. He worked as a heavy equipment operator all his life and spent the last 18 years working for Entergy. Terry served our country in his youth by joining the National Guard.

In his early twenties, he became a Mason and worked his way up to a Master Mason, belonging to Gainsboro Lodge #258 in Moorefield, Arkansas. He enjoyed running heavy equipment, hunting, fishing, spending time at the lake, and being with his family. Especially his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. Terry was a loving husband, father, brother, granddad, and friend whose memory will be cherished forever.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Cooley Weaver; children, Ryan Weaver and Tiffany Weaver Campbell (Jacob) and their children (Terrys’s grandchildren) Dalton Campbell, Hayden Campbell, Charlie Campbell; grandchildren, Evelyn Rudd, Joanna Mae Rudd; a young lady that is very dear to his heart, Lynsey Ellis; aunts, Jean Pennel of Calhoun, GA, Sandy (Wilson) Holman of Charlotte, AR, and Naomi Weaver of Mt. Home, AR; aunt, Ben Dean Malone of Memphis, TN; as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, brothers at Gainsboro Lodge #258, and his church family which he loved very much at the Bethesda Church of Christ.

Pallbearers are Ryan Weaver, Wesley Cooley, Jamie Ingram, JB Brashers, Jacob Campbell, Wade Cooley, Joseph Ingram, Tristen Cooley, Dalton Campbell, and Hayden Campbell. Honorary pallbearers are Ashley Brown, Jason Holt, Mikey Sutterfield, Cody Martin, Marty Martin, Eric Brashers, Cody Roach, Sam Cooley, Jacob Layne, Jesse Williford, Jett Rutledge, and Mike Jones.

A visitation will be held at the Willis Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, at Blue Springs Cemetery with Brother Ina Bradshaw officiating.
