Norma Jean Ashford Garrison passed away on Jan. 6, 2021.
She was born on June 27, 1937, to Bryan and Nora Ashford of Batesville, AR.
Norma loved being outdoors, including gardening, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed antiquing and going to auctions. Norma is a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose memory will be cherished by her loved ones.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Hendrix of Batesville; one granddaughter, Tammy Smith and her husband Shannon Smith of Sulphur Rock; five great-grandchildren, Leslie Baker of Memphis, Noah Smith of Sulphur Rock, Lance Smith of Fayetteville, Skyla Smith of Fayetteville, and Maylea Smith of Batesville; one great-great-grandchild, McKinley Ellis of Sulphur Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Garrison; and two sisters, Velda Dunegan and Marie Milligan.
A visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Willis Funeral Service Chapel.
There will be a graveside at Providence Cemetery Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at 2 p.m.
Honorary Pallbearers include Mike Alexander, Bryan Dunegan, Sandra Coe, Shannon Smith, Lance Smith, and Noah Smith.
