UPDATE, Jan. 26. 2021, 1:30 p.m. — Authorities report the subject, Cody Weathers, has apparently shaved his head and face.
The Independence Sheriff’s Department is actively searching for Cody Weathers, 28 years of age. Weathers is driving a white 2016 Chevrolet Silverado with Arkansas tag 327 RTP. Weathers’ whereabouts are unknown at this time.
The department said in a statement online it has been searching for Weathers with the assistance of the Arkansas State Police and Arkansas Game and Fish. The Arkansas State Police is also assisting with the investigation.
The department said it believes this is an isolated incident.
