The Lady Southerners dominated the Highland Lady Rebels from tipoff to final buzzer Monday Night winning 53-28 at Southside.
The Lady Southerners came out on fire hitting five, three-pointers in the opening quarter, four from Olivia Allen, building a 22-6 lead at the end of the quarter, and never looking back to set up their showdown with conference leader Brookland Thursday night.
The Lady Southerners hit 10, three-pointers during the game, played stellar defense throughout, and dominated on the boards behind Kamie Jenkins’ eight rebounds.
The Lady Southerners move to 12-5 overall, 7-3 in conference play.
Olivia Allen and Brett Gardner led the team with 17 points, Jenkins flirted with a double-double scoring nine points to go along with her eight rebounds, and Callie Robbins added five points on the night.
