The application for the Cushman community in Independence County was recommended and approved for funding in the amount of $274,749.00 to deploy broadband in Cushman.
Independence County Judge Robert Griffin commented, “When you see the impact of COVID by damages to the education of our youth, due to lack of access to broadband, it is a privilege to be a partner in securing these resources. This availability will also help with the ability to stream media services for households. This increases options for all of our citizens.”
Many residents in Cushman are currently limited when it comes to high-speed unlimited data internet options.
Bethesda Wireless will offer plans with up to 50 Mbps download for residential internet service. The most common plan will be 25 Mbps Download with 3 Mbps upload and totally unlimited data usage.

The standard installation will be free and there is no contract.
Bethesda Wireless LLC has agreed to deploy broadband to Cushman at least 25Mbps/3Mbps on or before Sept. 30, 2021.
