Southside Mayor Ray Bowman told White River Now on Thursday that work on the Triangle Lane road project, atop Ramsey Mountain, starts Friday morning.

Drivers are asked to be aware of workers and traffic signs in the area.

The Triangle Lane road project is being done by White River Materials of Batesville.

The project will close the northbound lane of Triangle Lane where it intersects Highway 167 and feeds traffic down Ramsey Mountain.

The other lane will remain open to traffic that will be intersecting with Highway 25 and feeding traffic toward Desha.

The traffic on the lane that is being closed will now have to go to the traffic light to make the turn onto Highway 167.
