Mountain View couple charged with drug violations and more

A Mountain View couple was charged last week in circuit court with drug violations. The man in the case was charged with felony aggravated assault on a family member.

The affidavit of probable cause for arrest states after a search of the residence during an initial investigation, the couple, Jennifer Christine Harris, 35, and Christopher Warren Harris, 56, were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher was charged with three counts and Jennifer was charged with two counts.

Christopher Harris was also charged with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

An enhancement was added because the offense was committed in the presence of a child.

In addition, Jennifer Harris was charged as a habitual offender, having previously been convicted of four felonies in the state of Texas.

Jennifer Harris’s bond was set at $15,000 and the bond for Christopher Harris was set at $20,000.
