White River Health System (WRHS) is partnering with the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care to host a series of COVID-19 vaccination events.

The first event is scheduled for Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Batesville Community Center, according to Sheila Mace, WRHS public relations development coordinator.

Another vaccination event is scheduled on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mountain View Senior Center, and an additional vaccination clinic at the Batesville Community Center is scheduled for Friday, March 19th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These events are open to individuals within the categories of the 1B phase of vaccinations, including those age 65 years and older.

An appointment is needed for these clinics and can be made by calling (870) 393-0071.

Mace says callers should ask specifically for the AFMC/White River vaccination clinic when scheduling.
