Batesville School District Assistant Superintendent David Campbell (pictured) told White River Now’s Gary Bridgman this morning that scoring a zero, particularly when it is related to the pandemic, can sometimes be a good thing.

“For the third week in a row, the Batesville School District is at ‘zero,'” Campbell said. “And what that means is we have zero students and employees that are quarantined and zero students and employees with a positive COVID case, and we’re just ecstatic right now.”

Campbell also said the district has already had a vaccination clinic with BHS grad Dr. Kelli Buffalo being very instrumental in its formation and execution.

Forty-six percent of district employees have been vaccinated, Campbell said.

Campbell spoke to Gary B. for Pioneer Update, sponsored by Citizens Bank. Listen to the interview below.
