Arkansas fuel prices have seen a jump over the past few weeks with some prices per gallon hitting $2.72 in the Batesville area.
According to the website GasBuddy.com, the top ten locations with the lowest prices in the state over the past 24 hours are mainly, with one northwest Arkansas exception, in Searcy.
The list includes the Searcy Walmart Supercenter with a price of $2.38 a gallon, the Siloam Springs Walmart with a price of $2.42 a gallon, and is rounded out by a number of other Searcy stations at $2.43 a gallon.
Yet the station that topped the list with the lowest price in the state was another Searcy gas outlet. According to Gas Buddy, the Casey’s location at 3400 Race St. has had a posted price of $1.55 per gallon over the past 24 hours.
