Two sentenced to prison during recent Stone County Circuit Court session

A man and a woman, in different cases, were sentenced to prison time on April 1 in Stone County Circuit Court.

Gary Duane Green (pictured right), 40, entered a negotiated plea of guilty to four charges: first-degree criminal mischief, possession of firearms by a certain person, breaking or entering, and first-degree terroristic threatening.

Green was sentenced to 60 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections on those crimes committed in August of 2019.

Green was also fined $1,000 plus court and other costs of $520. He was given credit for 450 days spent in jail awaiting a negotiated plea or a court date.

Green was on probation at the time of his offenses.

In a separate case, Christine E. Siverd (pictured left), 49, was sentenced to 36 months in prison after entering a negotiated plea of guilty to delivery of methamphetamine.

The plea was from an incident on Oct. 29, 2013.

Siverd was also fined $2,500 plus $545 court and other costs.

The court information said Siverd was on probation at the time of the offense.
