NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University will hold a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Batesville on Tuesday, April 13. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. in the Batesville High School gymnasium, located at 1 Pioneer Drive.

All Arkansans ages 18 and up are eligible to participate. NYITCOM will be administering the Moderna vaccine, and those who attend Tuesday’s event will be required to return on Tuesday, May 11 to receive their second dose. The follow-up event will also be held in the Batesville High School gym.

Insurance is not required, and vaccines are free to those eligible thanks to a grant NYITCOM received from the Arkansas Minority Health Commission.  El Centro Hispano is also sponsoring Tuesday’s event.

Over the past several months, NYITCOM’s Delta Care-A-Van has hosted mobile COVID-19 testing and vaccine events throughout the state.
