Charles Edward Riggs, 45, of Batesville departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born in Batesville on July 28, 1975, to Gary and Rebecca Reding Riggs.
During his working years, he was a carpenter. He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed bow hunting. He loved to read his Bible and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Charles is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Syble Reding, his grandfather, Cleo Riggs, and his grandmother, Eunis Pearl Willis.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Riggs, of the home; sons, Dakota Riggs of Heber Springs, Adam Berry, of Batesville, Roger Berry of Conway, Robert Berry, of Rogers; daughters, Breanna Riggs, of Pocahontas, Heather Armstrong, of Batesville, Destiny Colon, of Batesville; brothers, John Riggs (Janice), of Banner, Brent Riggs (Heather) of Batesville; sister, Tiffany Piety (Zack) of Batesville; grandchildren, Katy Armstrong and Eliana Colon; many extended family members, several nieces, and a nephew.
A Celebration of Life for Charles will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd, Southside, Arkansas with Bro. Kendell Weaver officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until service time.
The final resting place will be in Shamrock Cemetery in Charlotte, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doty Southside Funeral Service.
