“Hole Hecklers” to perform at Lyon Athletics Golf Scramble

This year’s Lyon College Athletics Golf Scramble will have an extra element added to it as “Hole Hecklers” will be set up at a hole to heckle golfers as they tee off.

“Hole Hecklers” is two professional stand-up comics — Jon M Chambers and Bryan Kellen — who position themselves at a tee box. They heckle the golfers from the minute they arrive at the hole by telling jokes, playing game, and creating a party atmosphere.

Chambers (pictured above, left) is a 20-year stand-up comedy veteran and opening act for everyone from Weird Al Yankovic, to The Temptations, to Dave Chapelle. Kellen (right) was recognized as America’s Best Up and Coming Comedian at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and is on the Hollywood Entertainment Business Journal’s list of the Top 100 Comedians in the country.

“Participants can choose to pay for silence as they tee off ($hut the Buck Up) or they pony up extra for the disruption of their partner – or rival – (Dough of Di$traction) – a good time will be had by all,” the college said in a release.

The Lyon College Athletics Golf Scramble will be held on Friday, June 18 at The Course at Eagle Mountain. The team fee of $500 includes the following: gift bag, beverages, lunch, 2 cart rentals per team (if needed), green fees, range balls, and prizes up to $1,000,000.
