Anita Simpson Mills, 56, of Cave City, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was born October 27, 1964, in Memphis, Tennessee to George Henry Manuel and Norma Laverne Webb. She worked several years at the Cave City Nursing Homes and was a member of Souls Harbor Pentecostal Church in Cave City. She raised Yorkies and loved all her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kristina Lynn Rogers.
Survivors include her husband Rick Mills of the home; one son, Joseph Daniel Simpson of Cave City; two brothers, Steven Simpson of Memphis, Tennessee and George Manuel Jr. (Mandy) of Cave City; two sisters, Melissa Simpson of Atlanta, Georgia and Aretha Thompson (Edward) of Cave City; one granddaughter, Kaylee Renae Simpson; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 22 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Souls Harbor Pentecostal Church in Cave City with Bro. Sam Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Steven Simpson, Bo Manuel, Joseph Simpson, Zack Mayberry, Tristian Manuel, and Carl March.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry McCord and Donnie Roberson.
