Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens is reporting two all-terrain vehicles have been reported as stolen.

On Friday, May 14, Deputy Hutton Grace met with a Floral Road resident about the theft of a white 2020 Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo side-by-side, valued at $19,000. The owner told Grace he went to drive the vehicle that morning and discovered it missing. The vehicle is now listed in the Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC) database.

The other vehicle reported stolen is a brown Honda FourTrax four-wheeler, valued at over $1,000, with a black Craftsman bumper on the front and a Warner-brand winch. The Hill Top Road resident who reported the Honda stolen told Deputy Chris Stump the vehicle was apparently taken sometime between May 13 and May 15. The incident report noted the vehicle’s owner could not provide a VIN, so it was not entered in the ACIC database.

Stephens also noted his department is also investigating four domestic violence calls from over the weekend.
