A Melbourne man died in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 167 in Southside Monday evening.
Guy W. Saber, 52, was on his 2014 Yamaha motorcycle heading south on 167 when Arkansas State Police say he attempted to negotiate a curve to the left and lost control of his Yamaha. The Yamaha left the roadway beside the southbound lane, struck a ditch embankment, became airborne, and then struck a utility pole.
State police say the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
