Two sports camps are being offered this summer by Batesville School District coaches.

The 2021 Pioneer Trailblazer Football Camp is set for two sessions in June on the Batesville Charter High School campus. The non-contact camp’s first session is June 7 through June 10 for boys entering grades fourth through sixth.

The second session is slated for June 14 through  June 17 for boys entering grades seventh through ninth. The camps will be each morning from 8 a.m. until noon. The pre-registration cost of the camp is $65. Late Registration $80.

For more information, contact Coach Dave King at (870) 307-3058 or Coach Tim Howard at (870) 613-4890.

A Pioneer Basketball Skills Camp for girls entering grades first through the sixth is set for June 10 and 11 under Camp Director Sherry Bentz.

Bentz said registration will be the first day of camp — June 10 — between 9 and 9:30 a.m.

Forms may also be picked up at the Batesville Charter High School on Pioneer Drive and can be completed before the participant arrives for the first day of the camp. The cost of the camp is $50 with the camp being held at the Batesville Community Center.

Bentz said campers should wear shorts and a t-shirt, socks, and sneakers. Campers will also need to bring individual water bottles.
