Jerry Al Travis, 81, of Cave City passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Batesville, AR.
Jerry was born June 25, 1939, to the late Elsie Travis and Billie (Deskin) Travis in Corsicana, TX.
Jerry was of Baptist faith and served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Jerry was also a member of the Lions Club and a Mason. Jerry was an outdoorsman.
He was an avid duck hunter and enjoyed training Labrador retrievers to be duck hunting dogs. You never saw Jerry that he was not wearing a cowboy hat.
He was a good man and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nancy Helvey.
He is survived by his three sons: Derrell Travis, Mike Travis, and Jeff Travis; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
