The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo brought a huge crowd to the Batesville Community Center on Wednesday. Businesses and organizations from across the area were represented on a sold-out exhibition floor, bustling with attendees, attractions, and conversation. Last year’s event was held virtually last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This year’s expo theme is One Hit Wonders and is co-presented by the City of Batesville, Merchants & Planters, Peco Foods, Rawk Imprinting, Sonic, Suddenlink Business, The UPS Store, and White River Health System.

White River Now’s booth dedicated its “one-hit wonder” to `80s metal band, Autograph, and their anthem, “Turn Up the Radio.” White River Now gave attendees an opportunity to win a vintage boom box, complete with a cassette player and tuner, along with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and tickets to see Autograph and fellow “hair-metal” band, Warrant, when they appear at Magic Springs in Hot Springs on Saturday, June 12.
