Citizens Bank’s Celebrate America welcomes the 4th with fireworks over the river

An explosion of fireworks in the skies above the White River concluded a day of patriotic excitement and revelry as Citizens Bank’s annual celebration of July 4th, Celebrate America, came to a close Sunday night in Batesville.

The day kicked off with the Experience Independence 5K run at 7:30 a.m. and live entertainment began at 4:30 p.m. opening with the Batesville Brass Society.

“We are thankful for the ongoing support and generosity of our sponsors who help make this celebration possible, including White River Now, The Batesville Daily Guard, Bad Boy Mowers, and White River Health System,” said Micah Beard, Citizens Bank regional president of north central Arkansas market.
