Johnny Calvin Davis, 69, of Newport departed this life on Friday, July 9, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock; he was born on Oct. 29, 1951, in Newport, the son of late John R. and Christine O. (Eady) Davis.
Johnny was a member of the Olyphant Church of Christ and loved God with all his heart. He enjoyed going fishing, gardening, rolling the dice, loved to eat, was an avid Green Thumb, but above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, John and Christine Davis; brother, James Davis; and sister, Joann Klingensmith.
He leaves behind his daughters, Christy Roberts (Tony Turner) of Newport and Michelle Davis Schank (Bruce Walker) of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jacob Roberts, Ashton Roberts, Carson Roberts all of Tuckerman; Amanda Lynn Baggs and Loreleigh Shank of Wisconson: great-grandson, Zander Baggs of Wisconson; step-grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Turner; sister, Linda McIntosh of Olyphant; and special friend, Jenny Minchue.
