Emerson joins FNBC’s Batesville team

Ken Emerson (picured) has joined FNBC as a senior vice president – commercial lender in the $600 million-asset lender’s Batesville office, located at 1388 Harrison St. 

In a media release, FNBC said Emerson brings more than 12 years of banking experience and specializes in agriculture and commercial lending.

“We are excited to welcome Ken to the FNBC team,” said Ryan Howard, community president for the bank’s Izard and Independence County offices. “Ken has a great reputation as a lender of choice in Batesville and we are looking forward to utilizing his leadership and talent in growing the FNBC presence in Batesville and throughout Independence County. Ken has a strong background and abundant experience in the farming and agricultural industry and will be a great addition to our Batesville team.”

Emerson holds a bachelor’s of science in ag business from Arkansas State University and is a graduate of the Barrett School of Banking.

He and his wife, Natalie, live in Sulphur Rock and have two sons.

FNBC, headquartered in Ash Flat, branched into the Batesville market in 2005.
