Two individuals have been charged in Stone County Circuit Court as the result of a July 13 drug bust.

Authorities say citizens were complaining of alleged drug activity at a Sawmill Road residence, so a bust was set up by the Stone County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Mountain View Police Department.

The two charged: John Butler Milligan Jr., 46, and Tiara Renee Trammell, 23.

The arrest affidavit noted when authorities arrived at the residence to execute a search warrant, Milligan was standing on the front porch and allegedly tossed a baggie to the ground that contained a white crystalline substance that tested positive as methamphetamine.

Court information says authorities found Trammell was also in possession of a small baggie containing a “white crystalline substance” that tested positive for methamphetamine along with a syringe filled with the narcotic. Trammell also had warrants out of White County and had active warrants for absconding, the info said.

Milligan and Trammell face two felony charges: possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Milligan was placed on a $2,500 bond while Trammell was placed on a $5,000 bond.

Authorities also arrested a woman in the yard of the residence who was currently out on bond on drug charges from Stone County Circuit Court.

Renee Sanchez, 39, allegedly told authorities she would test positive for meth and marijuana. She is charged with violating the conditions of her bond. The arrest affidavit said the conditions included that she not be “associated” with drugs and submit to a drug test upon request.
