Bobby Dean Hagar, 79, of Southside departed this life on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. He was born Sept. 21, 1941, to Raymond and Willie Belle (Moore) Hagar.
Hagar was of the Baptist belief. He was retired from the Army. He enjoyed car shows and could often be found tinkering with cars. Big family gatherings were his favorite. He always enjoyed meeting new people and was never too shy to strike up a conversation with anyone. Traveling was one of his favorite past times, he enjoyed seeing new places as much as he enjoyed meeting new people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 52 years, Lavone Hagar; one infant son, Randy Dean Hagar; brothers, Leamon Hagar, Carl Hagar, and Tommy Hagar.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Hagar, and wife Belynda of Southside; his sister, Evelyn McAdams of Tuckerman, and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Dillinger Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Ballew’s Chapel Cemetery.
