Rebecca Ann (Barnett) Seymore of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the age of 66.
She was born Nov. 29, 1954, the daughter of Cecil Aubrey and Audrey (Stewart) Barnett.
Seymore was a graduate of McCrory High School and Nursing School. She had worked at Newport Hospital and Baptist Medical Center as an LPN until her retirement twenty- three years ago. She was of the Christian belief.
Seymore enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, cooking, and listening to country music. She will be remembered as a loving mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Seymore; her parents; son, Scott Seymore; and a nephew, Randy Barnett.
Seymore is survived by two sons, Gary Seymore and wife, Shelia, of Batesville, and Eric Seymore and wife, Melanie, of Searcy; two brothers, Aubrey Barnett, and wife, Janette, of Searcy, and Jerry Barnett and wife, Paula, of McCrory; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Prince, Nicholas Seymore, Justin Seymore, Joshua Seymore, Devyn Seymore, and Hannah Seymore; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Tina Ali, Kevin Barnett, Regina Fletcher, and Paul Barnett; and a lifetime of friends.
