Tammy Pearce has been hired as the bank’s director of business development for the bank’s North Central Arkansas (NCA) market. Pearce will be based in its Batesville headquarters. In a statement announcing the hiring of Pearce, the bank said on Thursday her dedicated role will allow for institutional growth and increase community influence.

In this role, Pearce will leverage her expertise in business development with her knowledge as a loan officer to create insightful strategies to develop business for the bank, the statement said.

“We are eager to welcome Tammy to our team. The business development role will support our People First mission as we strive to grow deeper relationships with our customers and provide the best banking experience possible,” said Micah Beard, NCA regional president. “Her skills and experience make her the perfect fit for this position and I look forward to working with her to provide our customers with increased customer support.”

Pearce previously served as a loan officer at Bank of England Mortgage and has experience in corporate leadership as well as independent business consulting and strategic partnership implementation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in business at Arkansas State University with a major in management and minors in marketing and psychology.

“I am honored to be joining a team of such skilled and innovative bankers who truly strive to put people first,” said Pearce. “It’s exciting to have this opportunity to positively impact and support institutional growth and development.”

Active in the professional community, Pearce serves as a committee member and chairperson for several Independence County committees such as policy, tourism, and women in the outdoors. She serves as an Independence County Economic Development board member and acts as the Independence County Quorum Court justice of the peace for District 6. She and her husband have two children and three grandchildren.
