Obituary: Regina Gail (Doyle) Barnett

Regina Gail Barnett, 63, departed this life on Monday, July 26, 2021, at her home in Batesville. She was born in Batesville on Oct. 8, 1957, to Junior and Glenda Louise Lucy Doyle.

Gail was a loving and caring person and lived life to the fullest.  She will be remembered for her love for her family, her church, and her community.

She was the church secretary for Believer’s Community Church for over fifteen years and worked at White Rogers for several years.  She was a wonderful cook and was involved in Holy Hens ministry which provided many meals for families at the church, and she also looked at the church camp for many years.

Gail is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughters, Melissa Clark (Jason), of Cave City; Maranda Roberson, (Andrew) of Heber Springs, her mother, Glenda Doyle, of Cave City; a brother, Ernest Ray Doyle, (Debbie), of Cave City; sisters, Brenda Hammock (Phil), of Hardy, Denise Watson (Dan) of Southside; grandchildren, Isaac, Gage, Jill, Willow, Cooper, Hilton; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and extended family.

Gail was preceded in death by her father.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at the Believer’s Community Church, 3645 N. Louis Street, Batesville, Arkansas with Bro. David Insell officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue until service time.  In honor of Gail, the family suggests wearing bright colors to reflect Gail’s love for life.

Burial will be Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Sand Town.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Hatfield, Isaac Hatfield, Gage Hatfield, Jason Clark, Andrew Roberson, and Austin Wigginton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Hastings, Shawn Hastings, Adam Watson, Richard Moore, and Lucas Doyle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd, Batesville, Arkansas 72501.
