Obituary: Sherry Lynn Mauck Glueckert

Sherry Lynn Mauck Glueckert, 65, of Cherokee Village passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, in Batesville, Arkansas.

She was born Oct. 19, 1955, in Greenville, Mississippi to James Mauck and Jean Lancaster Mauck Avery.

Sherry was a member of Orchard Drive Baptist Church and attended Village Bible Church. She graduated from Morton High School in Hammond, Indiana; and worked as a bank teller for 20 years, and also worked for 10 years in retail. Sherry loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; she enjoyed playing Bunko with her Ya-ya Sisterhood Group and loved to ride motorcycles, and making family quilts.

Survivors include her husband, David Glueckert of the home; son, Aaron Glueckert (Samantha) of Hammond, Indiana; daughter, Shannon Hedrick (Joseph, Jr.) of South Fork, Missouri; her mother, Jean Avery; three sisters, Deborah Tysczkiewicz of Vancleave, Mississippi, Jenny Walsh (Frank) of Elkhart, Indiana, and Wendy Damron (Jeff) of Yellville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Joseph Hedrick III (Donnette); Chloe Hedrick, and Jace Oling; two great-grandchildren, Joseph Hedrick IV, and Connor Lee Howell; and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Mauck; and daughter, Bonnie Mauck.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at Village Bible Church with Phillip Pinto officiating. Arrangements were made by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
