Bobby Joe Younger, 76, of Pleasant Grove died Aug. 19, 2021.
He was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Batesville to William Cole Younger and Opal (Kirkland) Younger.
Bobby was an avid deer hunter who loved his family, cats, and guns. He was a true outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Norma Joan ”Joanie” (Cates) Younger of the home; three fur-babies, Charlie, Matilda, and Angel; one sister, Geneva Akins of Mountain View, and one nephew, Jerry Akins (Vickie) of Mountain View.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Bill Jr.
Pallbearers are Justin Cook, Kyle Davis, Jeremy Davis, and Harold Crider. Honorary friends are Tammy Davis Hunzeker, Nancy Hobbs, Lisa Garner, Abigail Wallis, Shirley Crider, Larry (Cheryl) Cook, Jerry (Vickie) Akins, Dr. Dylan Estes, Santhany Duncan, Heather Maxville, Randell (Carla) Davis, Jeanie Huff, and other friends and associates.
Graveside services will be Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Darryl Pitts officiating.
Per the family’s request, masks are requested to be worn.
