Marsha (Burnett) Smith, 59, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at her home. Marsha was born on Nov. 19, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois to Jerry and Billie (Crawford) Burnett. Marsha loved her husband, her family, and her church very much. She was a member of the Believer’s Church and will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Marsha and her husband Benny were always helping someone. Giving rides to doctors’ appointments, doing chores, and delivering food. Marsha was a teacher who had a prison ministry as well as being a bible teacher. Despite the pain from her physical problems, she came to her 94-year-old mother Billie Burnett three times a week to read and study the Bible. She loved her husband and family very much and always tried to bring comfort and cheer. She was a true example of Christianity and leaves a big void in our lives.
Marsha is survived by her mother, Billie (Crawford) Burnett; husband, Benny Smith; one brother, David Burnett; one sister, Deborraha Burnett, and many extended family and friends.
Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Burnett, and brother Stephen Burnett.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
