Ramona J. Rutledge, 77 of Batesville passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at her home. She was born Aug. 25, 1943, in Batesville, Arkansas to Lawrence and Mary Gibbs. She was retired from ConAgra in Batesville, enjoyed gardening and canning, and was a member of New Faith Gospel Church in Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Junior Gibbs, Darrell Gibbs, and Don Gibbs.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jim Rutledge of the home; the special person she considered as her daughter, Deborah Halcom of Batesville; one brother, Archie Gibbs (Betty) of Batesville; one sister, Janice Beitler of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Grove Cemetery near Charlotte with Bro. Robert Melton officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Gibbs, Scott Wooldridge, Johnny Coles, and Joseph Brewer.
Honorary pallbearers are Gary Girtman and Robin Melcher.
