Larry Michael Shaw, 76 of Mount Pleasant passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.
He was born on Dec. 3, 1944, in Batesville, Arkansas to Collie Morris and Nina Charlene McMahan Shaw.
He was retired from Boeing Corporation in Melbourne and was a farmer. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Shaw.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara Kay West Shaw of the home; one daughter, Crystal Williams (Mark) of Batesville; two brothers, Collie Shaw (Alma) and Marshall Shaw both of Mount Pleasant; two grandchildren, Colton Williams (Charity) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Hallie Williams of Batesville; one great-grandson, Evan Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church with Bro, Bruce Qualls officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery in Mount Pleasant with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Masks will be required for attendance.
No visitation is planned.
Pallbearers will be W.C. Evans, Randy Bray, Frankie Bailey, Mark Herrington, Roger Gillihan, and Larry Lee.
Honorary pallbearers are Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church Senior Adult Sunday School Class Members.
