Silver Alert issued for Batesville man

The Arkansas State Police has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Batesville man. The state police issued the alert at the request of the Batesville Police Department.

Jerry Dwayne Overland (pictured), 60, was last seen at his Neeley Street home on Saturday, Aug. 28, according to the ASP. He was wearing a red shirt and denim shorts at the time.

The alert says Overland may be traveling in a black 2012 Chevrolet Captiva with the license plate number 356197. The ASP also notes Overland is diabetic and possibly disorientated due to not having his medications.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jerry Dwayne Overland should call the Batesville Police Department at (870) 698-2450.
