Stone County man dies in motorcycle accident

An Alco man is dead after a motorcycle accident in rural Stone County Saturday afternoon.

Arkansas State Police report Michael Passmore, 63, was driving a 2002 Harley-Davidson east on Highway 74 near Landis when the motorcycle exited the highway to the right and collided with an embankment.

At the time of the accident, around 5 p.m., the road condition was dry and the weather clear, according to the preliminary fatality report from the state police.

The fatality was number 432 on Arkansas highways in 2021.
