Batesville-based Citizens Bank has announced the promotion of Lisa Davis to senior vice president, managing director of enterprise risk management.

Since joining Citizens Bank in 2009, Davis has served in a variety of roles within the bank, including AVP, loan processing supervisor; VP, loan operations manager; and VP, senior compliance officer. Her expertise in risk assessment and management is an asset to the bank.

In her new role, Davis will be tasked with developing and implementing an enterprise-wide risk management governance framework, the bank said in a press release.

“Lisa brings the experience and knowledge of assessing and managing risk along with developing strategies that are required for such an important area for Citizens Bank,” said Pam Jones, chief operations officer. “I am excited to work alongside such a talented teammate.”

In the release, the bank said the role will enable Davis to provide risk oversight and analysis to bank leadership and ensure it maintains safety and a sound compliance risk framework in related policies and guidelines for the bank. Another key aspect of her responsibilities will be to oversee the dissemination of new regulatory information to all affected business lines and the assessment of compliance with new regulatory standards. Davis’ leadership will be an important cornerstone in the continued development of this department, the release said.

Davis is active in her community, serving as a board member of the Concord School District and a member of Drasco General Baptist Church. She is a graduate of the Batesville Area Leadership Program and is currently part of Leadership Arkansas Class XVI.

“I look forward to building out the framework for such a vital department within the bank,” said Davis. “This will be a foundation for success as we continue to grow and innovate in the industry while keeping our ‘People First’ mindset.”

Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 2003 from Lyon College in Batesville. She obtained her CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) Certification in 2016 from the American Bankers Association. Davis and her husband, Chris, have been married for 21 years and have two children, Kaleah and Tyler.
